The Bass Sure Contact probe bar is designed to provide positive electrical contact with a pipeline or underground structure. Once the structure has been probed to determine depth, simply auger in the Bass Sure Contact Probe bar until it breaks the coating on the pipe or structure.
The bar is 6 ft. in length and powder coated to provide insulation from the surrounding soil. Handles are covered with rubber grips for comfort. Auger tip includes tapping head for easy coating penetration. Benefits: Read pipe to soil potentials between test stations. Perform accurate dresser coupling surveys. Directly connect pipe locators for optimum signal strength.
